Linda Lamb has demonstrated great skills in being able to be flexible with ownership changes to both project scope and budgets.  Linda has the ability to listen to the needs of the client and be open to other ideas, while making the appropriate changes to her program so as to keep everything within the allotted budgets.  

Linda comes equipped with great organizational skills throughout the planning stages of the projects and was able to locate top quality material for all FF&E items, thus maintaining the standards required for the renovation project.  

Linda also displays a wonderful, caring personality that creates a positive synergy between all parties involved in the project, which ultimately enhanced the final success of the project….. a true professional in all aspects!

When we decided to build our dream home in Hawaii we interviewed a lot of Interior Designers.  Hiring Linda was the definitely the smartest thing we did!

Linda is the consummate professional.  She’s extremely talented, highly organized and a real pleasure to be around on a long project of the type we just finished.  Linda had several clients in Hawaii before us and knew exactly how to coordinate a complicated, long distance project.  She even had a vendor in Bali and encouraged us to shop with her there. It was brilliant – we not only had the shopping expedition of our lives which resulted in a one-of-a-kind home on the Kohala Coast, but also a most memorable Silver Wedding anniversary celebration.

It is important to note that the architect we used provided us with floor plans and elevations but made it clear from the beginning that the Interior Designer needed to go above and beyond furnishings and be responsible for fleshing out all the design details as they arose during the construction process.  Linda assumed this responsibility and was totally successful.  She maintained copious and complicated documentation of every detail and was totally amenable to keeping the client informed on a regular basis.

Since our home opened in 2007 we have entertained family and friends as well as business associates.  Everyone who enters our home has been most complimentary and frequently asks us for the name of our Interior Designer.

We now look forward to having Linda re-design our home in the Bay Area.  We are confident that it will not only be stunning and beautiful, but also exactly what we are looking for.   It’s a pleasure to work with someone who is so talented and who has now become a cherished friend.

I would highly recommend the hiring of Linda Lamb and the Lamb Design Group for any hotel that is considering a design review and renovation. The process to renovate the Monterey Bay Inn had stalled until we hired the Lamb Design Group. Linda met with our ownership group and management team, and after listening to our vision and goal, she identified and created a design plan that made the most sense for the Monterey Bay Inn. Linda basically held our hand through the entire process from creating and presenting the plan to the completion of the model room. Linda worked with the team to make final adjustments on the model room that would enhance the overall design and provide functionality required in a hotel room. Linda responsibly managed all the details from generating the PO’s, and working with the many contractors and vendors involved in the project. She remained fully engaged with the project through the completed installation. Once the project was completed she provided the onsite team with the “specs” and manuals required to properly care for the items selected. I am pleased to add that all of the materials, fabrics, and furniture that Linda selected has worn extremely well in a hotel environment.
We were so impressed with Linda’s design sense and ability that she was asked to step in and complete a room
renovation at one of our other hotels, the Spindrift Inn.
