Professional History
With over 24 years of experience in the design profession, principal Linda S. Lamb holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from San Jose State University. Linda is a Profesesional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), National Council of Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ) and a California Certified Interior Designer (CID). Founded in 1986, Lamb Design Group is located in Monterey, California, and provides a comprehensive scope of interior planning and design services, with a special emphasis on hospitality and custom residential projects. Linda recently received the prestigious Judges Choice Award in the ASID 2001 Design Awards Competition for the Schneider residence in Kona, Hawaii.
Design Philosophy
Known for a diversity of styles that reflect the individuality of each client, Linda Lamb, ASID, is particularly noted for designing interiors that convey warmth, appropriateness, and extraordinary attention to detail. Our work emphasizes the complete environment a cohesive approach to the coordination of architectural details, interior finishes, and an innovative mix of furnishings, artwork, and accessories. Typically part of a design team that includes architect, contractor and various consultants, we work to achieve quality communication in all relationships, and believe that the success of a project is a result of cooperative effort and creative collaboration. We believe that interiors should be uplifting, and therefore strive to create environments that improve and enhance the quality of peoples lives.
